Wisconsin Venture Center Proposed by State

MADISON, WI  --  The Department of Financial Institutions and the Department of Commerce have formally proposed that the State of Wisconsin create a Wisconsin Venture Center, to help support venture capital initiatives in the state.

The new center would connect venture capitalists, companies and institutional investors in order to encourage investors to invest more with companies located in the state.

Wisconsin has a number of start up companies producing innovations in the areas of medical devices, life sciences and business services.
